Your Flame.Why are the simplest things the hardest to find?
And how come these thinks are worth more than your life?
You tried, you tried, yet you couldn’t escape;
These feelings, hidden, caused you to break.

You split down the middle, a tear through your soul,
And you never realised,
That you’d never been whole.

But the longer it took
the less time you had,
To build it back up,
to be whole;
You went mad.

And as we watched you, writhing in pain,
Heat shot to our cheeks;
From the light of your flame,
We couldn’t escape
The heat of your soul,
When yours was broken it was still the size of ours whole.

Aah this reminds me of being a child and falling asleep with my favorite toy, it was not one thing but whatever I was obsessed with at that time.
